We had a grand old time and shut the place down!
Minutes of the meeting will be posted when I have some time.
It was nice to see Idjit, CJ (and Mr. CJ) and CD again, And really nice to see the newer users, redmax, BD and Suzuki (and Mrs. Suzuki… or is that Granny Suzuki???). Sarge's plane was late, so he was unable to attend.
Yes I would say that it was a great success as well…
Can,t wait to here when the Suzuki's become granny and grampa….
It was very nice to meet some other users, names on the computer screen and seeing a face to go with it makes it so much more enjoyable to spend time on the site. Mrs. Suzuki had a zillion questions about the site on the trip back to Moose Jaw (She had no interest in before today!) so maybe I'll be in the same boat as Pooga…I stamp them she spends them, but I think she will be watching the site now.
PS Pooga: She wants to talk to you about this "granny" thing!
I'm glad to hear that the meeting was a success. And I'm real sorry I missed out on it. I don't know what was going through my brain, but I totally forgot until I was peeling apples for apple pudding, at about 4:15am today. Bummer.
I had the night off and everything. Crap. But, I guess I can sort of be glad I didn't go, because I was fighting a migraine and sleeping a lot on Sunday evening… Still, I would have likely gone, just to go. And Blue Diamonds was a good location for me. [Big fat sigh]
I'll plan for next time. Say… where do you Saskatoon folks work? Maybe I can stop in to introduce myself… I know Idjit is at the Co-op on Fairlight… and Crazy Dwarf is at Fas Gas on 20th and Ave H… I think… then we have the Pizza Hut guy…
And hey, Suzuki, where are you? I drive through Moose Jaw when I go home to see the folks. Anyone else around the highway from S'toon to Davidson to Moose Jaw and south?
I hope you all plan Gathering IV soon. :o)
cheezie
I don't work at Fas Gas right now, I went back to Weldon's concrete for a bit, but I will be back at Fas Gas around the start of Dec. Stop by any time after that would be nice to meet you and put a face to the name.
Which Fas Gas ??????
And you can go see BD at the jail.
No wait, maybe that's not such a good idea.
Hey BD, I hear Cunningham suicided yesterday. Were you working?
Yes I was there…
