Sometimes people enter a bill anonymously and then decide to start a username and enter the bill again- a natural mistake. Other times a person does this just to see if it will generate a hit- they're just messing around. Still, this is the reason for the 5 bill limit for newbies. If this same hing happened with 100 bills, it would be a pain in the a** for DR.

A marked bill was actually refused!
Plus I went to the bank today and the teller (commercial cage) said that she has seen a lot the bills and wished that people wouldn't mark bills. She said "we mutilate them and send them to the Bank of Canada".
No wonder we don't get too many hits on the big bills!
I gave her the number of the BoC and she said she would call and get the BoC policy direct from them. I hope things get straightened out there!
That sounds like it could be a bit scary! I don't really have anything to spend my bills on, so I pack them up and deposit them into the bank. Gotta think of another strategy!!

how about taking all your bills to the mall, and cashing them for smaller bills that are unmarked, repeat this pocess many times. ive done it for 40 bucks once but some day im guna do it with like 300 bucks.
Pooga, so they wouldn't take your bill, "thought it was fake". Hmm, maybe you are "generating" your own bills? Now there is a strategy for getting more bills entered, however highly illegal and probably just a bad idea all around.
My thoughts on all this bank stuff and bills being refused and sent to be destroyed is that the more the BofC is contacted the more upset they'll get and maybe one day the smack will in fact come down and bill writing will get shut down. A scary thought. I envision a massive number of bills being written on the night before the new rules would come down, like tax time. But anywho, just my thoughts on all this.
Yeah that sounds like a great idea! Go around and switch your money at all the stores and mark the bills (make sure you write down serial # and info so you can enter later) and keep doing that all day! You'll get a ton of hits one day!!!
