I noticed something on my 20s while looking closely at them
on the lower left side of the front note where the white bar is, there's a two digit number on the bottom portion, anyone know what this is used for? I don't have any other denomination on me, but I'm sure this wouldn't be a 20-specific feature.
PS Edit: the back of the bill, on the right hand edge in the center has the same number printed as the front. eg, on one note it's 26
I would just be guessing, but could they be plate numbers? And front and back are different on my notes.
I got some other notes, and they have different on front and back as well, in fact, it was only two of the ones that had the same front and back from the 20's now that i go over them. plate numbers is an interesting thought.
That is indeed the plate number.
