You should be one here! My neighbour had a roofer get started on his place in October. They had just conveyed the bundles of shingles to the roof when it started snowing. Those bundles are still sitting there. He'll be lucky to start by the end of April! (Not to mention the possible roof damage after 6 months of all that weight!)

Why do people reshingle so late in the fall? I reshingled my roof in early June about 5 years ago, and haven't had any problems. I beat the summer heat, and the shingles had all summer for the tar to soften and stick to each other.
