well it seems that my computers are in need of repair in the worst way, my home computer has hard drive problems and my office computer has locked me off the net. lucky after blowing all the dust off the lap top case i was able to finally get back on site after missing two days. i have enlisted the help of a computer software specialist to correct my problems and let me get on with business at hand.
i just hope that he is able to solve the problems for me.
the changes to the site are good and when you finally get the weekly reports back all will be fine in cmt land. thank dog i bought myself a laptop years ago as a back up. now if i had only backed up all my information this disk crash would not be such a problem. anyone know a company that can get information off a dead hard drive????

I was searching the web for you and the number 1 data recovery company in Canada is called Forensic Data Recovery based out of B.C. and you can call them at (250) 382-9700 or Toll Free: 866.381.9700.
I hope this is helpful to you

There are other places .. couple years ago i went to techtronics, which is out of business.
all they have to do is have another HD like yours & borrow the motherboard..
It is pretty costly to recover the information though..
I would phone local computer places & see if they have the knowledge of doing such a thing.. otherwise sending it to Toronto & BC is the only answer & they charge ALOT more.
High 3 digit to low 4 digits.. anywhere from 700 to 2200 is what i was told a couple years ago.. ( still with NO guarentee )

Your welcome.
As for having Vista on it, I hope you have a copy of XP handy cause everyone I know that has upgraded to Vista has already removed it and went back to XP due to the bugs that are still not worked out in Vista.
Good luck and please let me know how you make out with Vista.
