If i put money in the bank with the website on the bill, how many hits do you think I'd get?

Depends on how much marked money you put in the bank..I put marked money in the bank every week but I am not sure if I have recieved any hits from any of that money to date..Thats not much of an answer, but it's the best I can do..

You will probably get as many hits as if you spend it. Here's my reasoning. If you spend the bill, the bill may be given back to someone else as change. However, it's just as likely that the bill is kept by the store and deposited along with their nightly deposit. So either way your money ends up at the bank. But not to fear… because banks basically keep only enough money around to service the daily needs of their customers, that is that if everyone at a branch tried to withdrawal all their money, the bank would run out of actual cash. So money that you deposit into the bank becomes part of the bank branch's basic needs cash. So, it is entirely possible to have money deposited into the bank and then given back to a different customer the next day or perhaps even the same day.

Of course I could be WAY off, but that what I seem to recall from a buddy who was a summer student at the Royal Bank. Anyone who's a teller can feel free to correct me. :)

That all said, though, I have received hits from money deposited into the bank.

that's where the majority of my hits come from. When I used to mark bills at work ALL the bills went to the bank in the nightly deposit. My hits have slowed down a lot now that I can't mark them at work but every pay-week I get hits from 20's that came from ATMS

Yesterday the lady from the bar saved me two bills with CMT on it, she had just gotten them from our bank. They were bills of mine from our night deposit the day before. I have them watching for any marked bills for me. So yes the banks hand them right back out.

That's good. I was beginning to get kinda worried there! hehe
