Fellow Tracker makes me want to QUIT

Got this hit this morning from a tracker in Calgary AB and it makes me want to QUIT.

"Worst bill marking ever… Barely noticed the small pen marking… Going to stamp this so it is more noticeable in the futu "

It is up to me how I mark my bills and I an NOT impressed when I get this kind of comment.
May I get lucky and this tracker never hit my bills again!!!

Just ignore that tracker and keep marking bills how you want to. There are many times that I write on the bills because I don't have my stamp with me. I would think that you're more likely to get a hit than if you don't mark the bill at all.

it's okay, he may have been in the giddy delerium that afflicts gamblers when they rarely pop onto the black side of the ledger – at that time they might tend to be intolerant and insensitive. continue to mark your banknotes unobtrusively… they usually last longer in circulation with a greater potential for hits.

Sorry if I offended you. The comment was supposed to be taken in jest. Maybe you haven't seen the Simpsons' comic book guy say "worst [insert something]"

Your markings seems to be working, as seen by your amount of hits, but trying to make them more noticeable wouldn't hurt either. I was just surprised to see the marking on the back. Plus I was expecting to hit an anonymous for some reason. Add to the fact that it was 3AM, I had just gotten off work, and had woken up at 5:30 AM, I wasn't thinking straight.

Please don't quit. This site is a lot of fun. Like I said, I was not trying to offend you or make you quit. Please take my comment as a suggestion to improve though as you might be getting a lot more hits.

I apologize to everyone else as well, for making myself look like an ass. My sense of humor isn't for everyone I suppose.

@rudyk - I'm always on the black side of the ledger ;) and I wouldn't consider myself a gambler. More like a person knowledgeable in Statistics. I was probably more delirious about finding another CMT bill for once.

I have marked maybe a dozen in this manner, only with my opening as well (track this money with me @ …). My reason for doing this was so my hubby wouldn't complain about carrying "Marked Money".

I've long since stopped bowing to his wish on this matter, and he resigns himself to the fact that if money passes through my hands, however briefly, it's going to get written on. LOL

I've gotten DR to remove the seemingly rude comment.

I too used to mark them that way. Needless to say, I didnt have a stamper when I first started. I still write on them occasionally when I have to spend money that I havnt had a chance to bring home.

It's awesome to see someone admit a possible fault, apologize, and take steps to correct. Taking responsibility for your actions is something rarely seen these days. Thank you MmmBeer.

I get my bills fixed every now and then… if they leave a name I usually send out a ty note especially to people from other sites like "cmwolf", she enters our notes… repairs and fixes the spelling if needed so we get more hits… I love people that fix my bills… means more hits for our site! Plus more places.
