Hey

Is there any reason why I can't post on Annoucements?

Only the site administrator and his assistants can post on announcements.

BDK correctly noted:
Only the site administrator and his assistants can post on announcements.

besides… there has to be SOMEwhere where pookiekins can't annoyingly crosspost…

I think you may have gone a little overboard pookiekins! ;)

I must agree that the words bragging rights does not allow for cross posting and must point out site policy frowns on this.

You are not to post messages that are outside of the forum's topic or deliberately cross-post.

Posting messages outside of a forum's topic is disruptive, so don't do it. Posting the same message over and over again is also disruptive, so don't do that either. And posting the same message in different forums (commonly known as cross-posting) is also disruptive. If you post your message in the proper forum it will be seen by the proper users, so don't cross-post as it's distruptive too.

well, so much for having fun

One man's fun is another man's sin.

Thank you very much for pointing that out for users that don't know any better.

Whatever your feelings are on the matter, cross-posting like pookiekins did is generally considered unacceptable in the Internet world and CMT is no different. Please refrain from doing anything like this in the future – I have deleted all the messages and do not fancy wasting 20 minutes doing so again in the future. For anyone who may disagree with this please keep in mind that 20 minutes spent administering the site in this manner is 20 minutes NOT spent adding features.
