Question for dr...or anybody who would know

On a hit that happens in the same city as bill was entered…how do you calculate the DISTANCE? And WHY?

Before we got the new system, all city hits had 0km travelled. But in May, we got the postal code system. So in a big city with more than one postal code, it shows how far the bill goes.

And it's based on the first three characters of the code. eg. Saskatoon has S7H, S7J, S7K, S7L, S7M and S7N. So there would be distances between them.
