Yea, I thought that myth was dead but it keeps coming back to keep us entertained….

Perhaps I should add a little link on the add page which pops up the full text of the email from the Bank of Canada? :)

It would also help the BoC, cause they said that when banks send them our bills, they get PO'ed.

Well I sure hope it's a "MYTH"…cuz I'm waiting for my 1st stamp to come in from Staples!! I can't wait to use it…so tired of writing on bills…lol

I think it's a myth, my friend at the bank has never sent a bill to be destroyed because of writing on it. It's all on the condition of the bill.

The new version coming out this week (2.1.1) now has a link at the top of the main page and also the add bill page which says "Is it legal to mark my bills?" Whent he user clicks on it, it pops up a window with text similar to the new FAQ on marking bills. So hopefully that will reduce the hostility. :)
