We were at the Calgary airport late one night and heard a page for someone German-speaking so went to help out. These German tourists, that didn't speak a blessed word of English, were trying to pay $129.00 in rental car insurance with a $1000 bill! They had won it as spending money along with an all expenses-paid trip. Bet that bill could tell some stories!
When did they stop minting those?
