SORRY TO REPORT THAT HE IS OFF HIS FEET FOR 12 TO 16 WEEKS WITH A BROKEN ANKLE IN TWO PLACES. AW COME ON IF THE
NEWSPAPERS CAN USE MISLEADING HEADLINES WHY CAN'T I ?

Been there done that and it's NO FUN! 15 weeks for me and 2 operations (10 screws & 2 plates) last year I know exactly what J.D. is going through. Pass along my wishes for a speedy recovery to him.

Hope he didn't spill any of the precious JD beverage……

Have a Speedy recovery JD. your beverage of choice also makes for an excellent "pain" killer….

BC thanks for keeping us updated. Please let Dr JD know that I wish him a speedy recovery and hope that his ankle heals very quickly. Glad though that he is not broke financial ..lol

naw he still has lots stuffed in his matress and putting more away every month. took him a cake today that betty made for him and a wonderful large fruit basket from some of the wonderful cmt members. thanks to all who share with me in giving this gift of kindness. i am sure once jd can make it to his computer (he declined my offer of a laptop) as wire would be a hazard to his parents who are have very poor vision. i take him to hospital on wednesday to have the breaks checked and will post info. as i get it. thanks

That is very thoughtful of you guys to bring him something to cheer him up. I hope that he has lots of JD to sooth his pain. So ..how did it go at the hospital, is he healing nicely?

dr. (medical not our site leader) is not happy with jd as he is not staying off his foot … i take himback to see the dr. on nov. 30th. and can imagine that he will get another lecture as he still uses a walker to get to the bathroom.
