Hi Everyone, I just found this Forum today and want to introduce myself. My name is Rob, live in Toronto and am an Error note collector. I am very interested in finding any members who would consider selling me any error notes you might have or know of someone who has any for sale. I hope to be able to do business with fellow collectors in this new year.
Could you please tell me what kind of errors occur on notes? I'll keep an eye open for any if I know what to look for.
trippy_trip check out my posting here about the error note I found.
Or this one with a missing number (in mint condition too)http://www.msnusers.com/4hitkq3j96qpcjikdca8glhef4/Documents/My%20Stuff/Missing%20Number%20Bill%20%28close%20up%2Epng
There are many types of errors. Mismatched serial numbers, missing serial numbers, notes cut out of register, extra pieces attached, ink smears, missing ink on some areas. The Charltons catalogue has a whole section dedicated to Error notes in the back. Thank you, Rob
I'll keep my eyes open for any of these bills.
Suzuki, did you ever find out if that $5 with the error was worth any extra cash?
