A Sad Month

February was indeed a sad month.

The first month to be under 1,000 hits since August of 2002!

5 and a half years! I suppose this is just more empirical proof for rudyk's saturation theory!

But to the people that haven't been around for years that number seems just fine & dandy.

yes, it is sad and i wouldn't have minded being wrong in that postulation. but it also lends further credence to someone else's vision who had it right all along. dr always professed that he wanted to build this site slowly and turned down many explosive growth strategies. however, there were some members who chose to outstrip the capacity. perhaps we can call it the "tragedy of the money-tracking commons". what would garrett hardin say?!

LOL okay… what I should have said was, what would garrett hardin THINK he was saying? :)

I've had about 10 hits in the last year. It's a real bummer, especially since I'm doing nothing different.
