Dr. You should have it so when say i get a hit in a location that is not listed in your lat/long list we email the cordinates to you. I think it would be easier for you then and then at least we get the distance of how far the bill(s) have travelled.
I'll start now:
Grand prarie, AB: Long55, Lat119
I guess this would be optional, but whatever.
MMMBEER
Grand prarie, AB: Long55, Lat119
Actually, I am putting the coords in down to the second, and I'm using the airports. So, for example, Calgary is at:
51N, 1' 55" & 114W, 4' 15"
I have access to the very general lat/longs, but I want it as pinpoint as possible. Don't worry, they're coming. :)

I was going to ask about that.
What happens in the case of small towns with no airport?
And to go one step further, how should I enter bills from a farm? The nearest town?
Use a GPS…then send DR the long/lat !?

I think you'd be surprised on how many airports there actually are.

Did you get the bill from the farm? I think those cases will be few and far between to be honest. Best bet is to go with the nearest town.

Did you get the bill from the farm?
Actually, yes. There are some bills I entered as being from 'Aberdeen', when in fact it was a farm about 14 km northeast of there.
But it's really pretty petty. 12 km is not going to make a lot of difference in the long run. Aberdeen will do, although my wife says there used to be a train stop (elevators) nearby that was called Rak Siding (halfway between Aberdeen and Smuts!)!
So, would sending the long/lat to you, of a place not listed actually help? I was in CFDet Dundurn this weekend, a place I've entered a few bills from, and took a GPS reading in the middle of the road between the variety store and the MP shack: 51 degrees, 50' 53" N; 106 degrees, 33' 42" W.

Cool, thanks for the GPS reading. I've added it to the DB.
