Hi there , my name is helen I am from BC. I got my first bill yesterday and logged it, found it had travelled from Saskatchewan (the home base of this , I see?) I tried to just enter a bill without the URL on it, it came back as nonvalid serial# etc. So I am going to try again today, and see where that gets me. Thanks Pooga for your response so quick to my querie last night! From the looks of the posts, a great bunch in here! You are bookmarked and I am an addict… LOL

Welcome from the CMT Capital, Saskatoon. However, the server and the webmaster are based in Calgary. A couple of our members were complaining that we had no steady users on the Island so you are indeed welcome!
If you got a nonvalid serial number reply, there are a couple of possibilities. First, be sure that you have the correct denomination chosen, e.g. BJI will not enter as a five, because that prefix is for one hundreds.
The other possibility is that the prefix is very new and isn't in the database. In that case, post that fact in the 'Bill Talk' forum, MmmBeer will note it, tell the webmaster, and you should be able to enter it in the near future. (as soon as the webmaster gets back from vacation!).
you can't enter it on the Homepage either. If it has no stamp then it becomes one of YOUR bills and you mark it, enter it under BILLS or USER and send it shopping.
