I'm leaving Red Deer in the morning to go to Canmore, Lake Louise, Morraine Lake and Banff. Probably stopping in Airdrie and Cochrane on the way there and Calgary on the way back. I'll be spreading my marked money all along the way. Hope some of it finds its way to this site.
We plan to eat at the Harvest in Canmore (they make an awesome grilled cheese), the Chateau Lake Louise Hotel (for the first time), and the French Quarter Cafe, also in Canmore (love their Cajun food!).
Have you ever been to the dinner show "Oh Canada Eh" while in Canmore. My wife and I havebeen there for 3 consecutive years–loved the show and the food every time. Have a GREAT trip.
I would be very happy if you would latch onto some of my cash which I have spread around Calgary this past year, actually have spent some in Red Deer as well on fuel while driving through.
We found out about the dinner show belatedly, so were unable to attend. As well, we didn't eat at the Chateau because I came down with pneumonia and had no appetite for such meals. Might be back to work tomorrow for 3 hours, not sure yet. Slept almost all of Monday and Tuesday and half of today, still a bit weak. Doctor gave me two heavy drugs for 10 days.
