Has anybody noticed that the majority of recent new regular users are women??? For so long it was only CJ, Anglo and Circle!
I think it started with Kitkat, kimberlite, Jake, 21MDB, crazz, LeeAnn, magpie, katwoman… and probably more that I missed.
Strange that it's happening now, and unusual that they're slowing down on the spending enough to do some tracking!
Any deterence from cooking and cleaning is a good thing. I however have got to back in the kitchen, takeout is not getting me any hits.

I never spent so much money in my life as I do now since I became a CMT junkie.
It's getting tough to support my habit and especially now that my limit went up…waahhh!

How much marked money are ya spending in the kitchen?
I find I can spend my money every which way and still not get many hits, if any. I pay for my groceries in fives, I pay for my gas with fives, even at the movies where youth lives, you'd think I'd get better reception. I even bought a used car with about 200 or so mixed bills. Less than 10 hits there. Then recently here there have been news stories about counterfeit bills found, tens and now twenties. Even the ATMs we are told have false fronts that copy people's bank cards. Stores and drive-thru restauants have the UV light to check any bills, no matter how busy they will take the time to verify my bills, embarrasing as they pretend not to understand English. I thought if I laid off the fives I may get a chance at finding other users bills, also I changed from using my big bold obvious stamp to a more discreet margin stamp so as not to obscure the authenticity features. The stamp is now just a line of text on the top edge of the bill, on the back. Its as if all marked bills are kept separate and sent back to the bank and redeemed to the store as compensation for 'dirty bills'. I don't know, in the 6 years I've lived here I've never found any written on money.
Not to worry, I haven't resorted to using my debit card yet, I try to make sure I have a few bills on me at all times. Perhaps I'll try spending in a different part of the city.
*As for how much money I'm spending in the kitchen, not much, but the hit rate is about the same. :)
It's an interesting stat. I always wondered what your Saskatoon gathering would look like. All you men and only CJ!
As far as shopping, it'll never slow down. It actually feels like more because I'm spending so many more bills with them mostly being bluenotes.
I feel I'm more attentive to my money. I don't use debit as much, and I'm more aware of my money (making sure it's all marked) I seem to know now exactly how much I have spent and where I have spent it, and also know where everyone in my house has spend their money (or bills) so really CMT has helped me keep much better track of our household income.
Wow~! I didn't realize this site is helping us keep track of our finances along with tracking our bills until now!!!
