I got me a whole whack of money from the Safeway in Spruce Grove so I could test my limits. 21 got reprimanded by Customer Service. "You've already been here once to get fives. You were just at a cashier asking for change. And now you're back here talking to a different girl. I CAN'T give you any more fives. We won't have enough for the weekend…blah blah blah" I had already by that time put my hands in the air and surrendered to the Hit Police. She didn't even hear me when I said tens were fine or fifties or a hundred. I'm pretty sure she thought I wanted a hundred fives because that just launched her into a whole new tirade. Poor 21 has not yet recovered from the shock of confrontation. I feeling so misunderstood.
Why not just go to a bank, they are usually open till late on Thursdays.
(I can just see it now, fat lady looking for fives at foodstore, news at 11…HA HA HA HA HA HA HA !!!)
it's a true story!
I heard it from a friend of a friend of mine…
Here, the Royal Bank is open 'till 4pm Mon.-Thurs. and 5pm Friday. Always get there Friday, as I only get home from school at 3.30 and its 20 minutes away.
I can't. The Bank is in Duncan. Thats 15 kms away. When I said 20 minutes, I meant a 20 minute drive. It takes 35 minutes to just bike there.
well now that I have had my comic relief for the day………time to get to work and maybe……….just maybe someone will actually use cash. and that i will actually see another life form today. this is one dead village in the winter! No wonder I have 4 dogs.
