Should a person hang on to any of the bird series fives or tens (if you can find some in really good shape), and if so, what serial numbers or signatures are the ones to watch out for?
I heard something about ANU fives being in demand. Which serial numbers are "the ones", or have more been released and they're no longer worth watching for?
I stopped taking them in because I got the Lasting Impressions set for both series. Also, I held on to an UNC. $5.
Yes, the ANUs are somewhat rare. This was where the BoC stopped producing the Bird fives. The ANUs only have serial numbers from 0000001-6999999. 6499999 - 6999999 were the Lasting Impressions series. And than you have some sheets of them produced in there also. So not many circulated bills are present. I have one in AU, but presently, its still the same value, maybe 6 or 7 dollars.
