Part of my upgrade to Mac OSX was a thing called iChat which connects to AOL Instant Messaging.
So I would like to try it out!
I am online most of the time, so feel free to 'drop in' and chat with me at 'Pooga56'.
I am new at this, so it might take a bit of help from your side!

I would, but I can't. Don't got AOL. Only MSN.
Doesn't cost anything for AIM. Give it try if you have time.
It's a pain for most people to have more than one IM client. But there's hope… there are cleitns that let you talk to people on MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, AIM, etc… all within the same window. I use Jabber, but there is also GAIM and a bunch of others if you search Google for them.
Pooga, I will try and find an AIM plug in for my Jabber.

Thanks! But if you're using OS X (10.2) on that Mac, iChat is part of the package. No hassle and it's integrated.
But your way will give you a challenge!
I dislike intensely AOL.
AIM freezes up everytime and I have to shut it down.

Yeah MSN is free to and much more wide spread! AOL seems to be very propriatary for some reason.

dr has joined me for now, but he suggests looking at Jabber.
So I will take a look at it and let you all know what develops!
Jabber might be a bit much for you (in the sense that it's still pretty unstable for non-programmers). You may want to look at GAIM or Trillian first.

GAIM or Trillian
As soon as I get Mozilla working again..
Refuses to send email or dload right now. Strange.
