Since we are starting to gather steam in Alberta, perhaps we should organize some user gatherings? I don't have time to organize anything myself for Calgary so someone else will have to take the ropes on that.
As far as the Edmonton area is concerned, well, I will be in St. Alberta on March 1st and 2nd so if someone up north wants to organize a gathering that weekend, I'd be happy to attend.
Oh, and the added bonus of me attending is that I will bring my laptop so you can see what it looks like from the development side of things (if anyone is interested). :)
And finally, I am going to try and make an effort to get out to Saskatchewan this summer (since I've never really been to the province and since it's the centre of the CMT universe supposedly). It would be easier to justify a trip if I could do some scuba diving while I'm there. Anyone know of any good sites?

Check these guys out. They are the local diving instructor/ sales guys. They can tell you the best places to dive, but a buddy that I see from time to time sez there are no bad places to dive… (except sloughs). If you want, I can talk to 'em and get back to you.

Lots of lakes and in the north where there are no roads, it lokks like mostly water from the air….
if i climb the hill behind my house, I can see 3 lakes. Ketepwa, Mission and Echo. Nearby is also Pasqua and one other one I cannot remember the name of. I am surrounded by lakes here. mosquitos too. and woodticks. horseflies. etc etc
I used to work in northern saskatchewan, and in the winter you were riding your snowmobile on ice all over the place. It was great fun!!
