And then tell them what is going on and you will get a couple interested/or addicted hopefully.

To really enjoy this site you have to mark and enter your own bills (or any you touch!) and acquire hits on those bills.

Although it is exciting to receive someone else's bills it's even better when someone finds one of yours.

Don't worry, maggiemae, you're still in the early stages of going nutters. And nowhere near our dear whacked out 21MillionDungBeetles!! Because of her, and her alone, Safeway is considering hiring bouncers for all their stores. Not so long ago, there was an incident where she almost had to be forcibly removed from one of their stores because she was harrassing the checkout cashiers and customer service repeatedly for five dollar bills. Not a pretty scene!

Now, the rest of us CMTers love five dollars bills just as much as 21MDB (after all, they do generate the highest percentage of hits), but we tend to just go to the bank and get them from a bank teller. Simple. A no-brainer, one would think.

So, maggiemae, you aren't so bad off after all, but to stay on the safe side (i.e., still a candidate for rehabilitation) pay attention to 21MillionDingBats and her antics. Use her as a guide, an "insanity meter", so to speak, and you'll be able to tell when you are approaching the danger zone.

We mark 'ALL' of the bills that pass through our hands, record all the serial #'s and enter them here.

To speed up entering the bills, rather than entering everything on the add-bill page all over again, just hit the 'back' button on your browser, and just change the serial number for the next bill. (Plus denomination and condition if need be)

or at the bottom of the page there is a little box you can check off that saves everything except the serial number. saves the denomination, where you got it etc. oh and it does not save the condition of the bill either but it sure speeds it up when you get a pile of bills from one place.

Maybe you should do a defrag and a scan and empty the ol' cookie jar…?
Personally, I think hard drives should be scanned and fragged daily.

i am on dial up and mine is not too slow. not as fast as I would like it but not too bad. If my computer gets too slow I declutter it by defragging.

I am not sure what you are talking about I just know I a can only enter one bill every 15 seconds and for over a year I didn't have that problem.

How much ram do you have HOGGS? It sound like you don't have enough to me. Or it could be the swap file issue I had.
You could try downloading xtq-setup, there is an option in the program that will force windows to use max ram before it uses the swap file but you need 128 megs or more of ram for it to work. There is an other option for those with a newer modem to over clock it to speed up transfers that I used when I was on dialup. Hope that helps!

I recently defragged and it took hours, literally all day.

Also if you dump your Temporary Internet Files should help speed things up, especially if you frequent sites like amazon.com and ebay, I had almost 5000 cookies in there!

Maybe too there is too little space on your C drive, the drive that usually runs all the programs.
