How Long does it take?

Ive been on here since December and have marked about 50 notes and haven't received a hit yet. How long does it normally take to get your first hit?

Hi it took me about 3 weeks to get my first hit.
I had 9 hits in my first 2 months.
I had entered about 140 bills by that time, 396 by 2 months.
Keep entering bills & it has to pay off sooner or later!
I did see somene (DaveZ) entered well over 1300 & still got no hit!, but that is unusual.

It can take a while to get hits and it is hard to put a definition on "a while". The more notes that are entered the better chances you have of getting a hit.

Keep entering & marking, dont lose hope…. you're bound to get one, and they usually seem to "snowball" once youve had your first!

I started mid-Decmber, and I've entered about 200 notes, and got 3 hits so far. Mine don't seem to get hit as quickly as some others, it seems, but, then again, it may be the 'watched pot never boils' idea.

Also, I think that it may have to do a little bit with where you are. The hits seem to be faster in Alberta, and the West coast, and much slower in Ontario (I'm in Toronto). My generalization may be inaccurate (ie probably lots of people will jump on my comment) but I think that has been the topic of previous posts, ie liklihood of hits based on geography.
