Counterfeit $5

I think I've come across a fake $5. It's ~5mm less wide than a $20. Serial starts with ANW86. It's the older style without a silver strip. Should this criteria be enough to determine it's fake? Otherwise it's almost perfect, the braille bumps are there and the text "The west block of parliament" are printed all the way to the last line.

Its probably just a 2002 series, I just got 1 from the bank the other day.
The first of the new $5s & $10s did'nt have the silver strip, & some of the other security features.
Mine is about 2mm narower than a newer $5 & starts with AOF.

there are several things that you can check on these older banknotes that still work really well and are difficult for counterfeiters to duplicate. check out this page
