Looks like since the scores have been updated, I am back up there too.. And Idjit has a 900+ score.. Cool

I can't wait for you to pull ahead of me again.
So the chase can continue!

While we pause to catch our breath and appreciate all the lovely changes on the site (thx again dr) I'd like to say a few words…

Back at the beginning, the chase for me was to uncover Jake's true identity.
Look at her profile and you'll see she left me few clues.
Wanna know something funny?
I thought she was a guy at first! Hahaha.
Well, I discovered a few things about Jake.
She's a MICHELE who has trouble sleeping at night.
(There Jake, I blabbed. Come and get me!)

Also, at the beginning, we developed our SPY identities.
Which was fun.
Then 21 (me) suffered a severe CMT setback and had to go into the REHAB HOTEL.
For rehab.
I suffered through the withdrawal pains of being offline, the horror of having my room and belongings searched for stamps, inkpads, Sharpies, and stashes of unmarked bills.
I was tortured with hours of psychiatric assessments, therapy, counseling, vocational training, sing-a-longs, crafts class, and Ringette.
I was subjected to rigorous, aggressive and often cruel methods of behavior modification (some of which I suspect were still in the experimental stage,,,)
But all that was nothing compared to the agony I had to endure sitting on the end of my bed day after day watching out my window…

(I can't speak of this without being overcome with emotion.)

Looking directly into the service yard of the "place where money goes to die"…
Seeing the big furnace with its flames leaping out and billows of smoke boiling up into the sky…
Watching, cringing, sobbing as wheelbarrow after wheelbarrow of bills is hurled into the blaze.
Every now and then a worker would look up to the windows and smile malevolently as he tore his bundle open and shook it into the flames.
Bills would sail and float on the air currents in a final bid for freedom.
But they'd all be grabbed quickly and ripped into teensy tiny little pieces before my eyes and thrown back up in the air.
That's not the end - I'd have to watch all manner of bill destruction on videos and participate in weekly interactive workshops.
It was HIDEOUS!
The good news in all of this is that, over the months of my treatment I DID make progress!
The bad news is I progressed from crazy to INSANE!

Jake and I set out to accomplish something…and we DID it!
We're now side by side…on Page One.

Thanks to everyone who joined in the chase and cheered us on.
There were a coupla times when the jabs did get to me and I nearly threw in the towel.
But of course I didn't, knowing that Jake would just pick it up again and snap me across the legs.

A special thanks to BDKingston, whose encouragement and support gave me the confidence to run faster and farther than I thought was possible.

It's still hard to believe!
After all, Jake and I are still babies.

I hope this is an encouragement to all the newbies out there.
See what can be done when you set a goal and have someone to egg you on?

Page One in three and a half months.

The front page is great. Now to stay there and pass 21 and not let Jake get any closer!

I have NO idea.

Probably the same old torture and abuse of 21 as always.
She's not the brightest penny in the fountain but she's good competition and a dear friend.

And what's with this JaketheCheater?? Totally uncalled for, my dear 21MillionDollarBRIBES! I play strictly by the book. Let the hits naturally fall where they may.

Anyway, we ARE doing awesome! Little old Sherwood Park (Jake country) is only 88 bills behind big old Edmonton in number of bills entered. he he he

As for number of hits, Edmonton has zoomed up from 8th place to 4th place in less than 2 months, passing Kamloops, Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, and Vancouver. Calgary is next and we are creeping up on them - we're only 228 hits away from catching them (on Dec 20, we were 278 hits behind them)! Only thing is a lot of my hits lately are Calgary hits, but we'll just have to work around that! Besides, we've got 21 and her out-of-control magical stamp racking up hits like crazy. I wonder, is there a Hit Devil? If so, I do believe 21 has made a pact with him!

Alberta is gaining on BC as far as number of hits goes. On Jan 02, BC had 809 more hits than us. As of today, they're only ahead of us by 692 hits.

And we're only just getting started…..
