In case anyone wants to listen to my rant… Westjet cancelled my flight last night; joy. Then this morning they decided not to land here in Kelowna. So, now I'm stuck here until this afternoon. Remind me to fly Air Canada like I normally do next time. :)

My dad got a Seattle-Tampa flight for $123. In Canadian dollars. Both ways. And only last week. While your in BC, send out money. The odds favour the Fast Trackers will get one of them (3 of us are in BC).
You can always head over to the Willow to blow some time as long as you have no Princess.
Im going to Kelowna end of March for a week for skiing and golfing :)
I remeber being stranded in Calgary about 10 years ago when my DND flight was cancelled…and I had to be back in Ottawa the next day. I paid over $700 for a same-day one way flight to Toronto (my truck was in Kingston). Yet, if I had had my passport with me, I could have flown Luftansa from Calgary to Frankfurt and back to Toronto for just under $300. Go figure…the further you go, the cheaper it is!
Air Canada might have got you home, but your luggage would be in Istanbul… I agree with previous posts, without Westjet, you would have paid 1150.00 for your ticket, you would feel inferior after talking to the ticket agent, and chances are good they would have cancelled their flight too.
Air Canada has never lost my baggage. And they are a b-zillion times more professional than WestJet… that place is like a circus.

One of the girls at work just got back from a cruise and said it was terrible! She had a one night layover at a Tampa hotel but her baggage was in Ohio!! Luckly the baggage arived in time for her departure aboard ship! Sorry to hear about your trouble dr and good luck!!
Westjet lost our luggage AGAIN!!!! The last 3 times we flew to Edmonton our luggage has been lost, what are the odds??? Most time they were at the hotel by 3 this time we didn't get them until 9 pm, my daughter finally went for a swim in her undies and top. The bags came while we were in the pool (she was in the pool) Big complaint coming tomorrow on the phone…3 times and your out!!!
