Okay so Pooga saw the bill first hand he told you that in this forum and said he does not enter prefix BDK now has the bill and has sent a scan. Did not show Idjit as by the time he arrived our review of bill was done Wally 69 and JD Fever also looked at the bill. When Idjit arrived some 45 pounds lighter and without his beard and entered the room without anyone knowing him all talk was switched to him and his major changes. Now this explained when might you enter this prefix now that another site assistant has confirmed it to you and so has another member.
BC:
I am not sure how many times this must be explained to you, but I have the patience of Job and so I will give it another shot (except I'll try to be monosyllabic this time …oops… blew it already! :) ).
There is a certain procedure that I follow when adding a prefix and several tests that must be met. When these are met, the prefix is added. This is the way that I do it. It seems to be rather widely accepted, with at least one obvious exception.
The prefix EUE has not been widely encountered and I only know, for certain, of one occurrence. That is not enough for me. And please understand that it is NOT the only prefix that is pending for addition. Repeated requests or aspersions cast are not going to make this happen any sooner.
Your options are several:
a) ask another Site Assistant to enter the prefix – they may have other standards.
b) appeal to the Site Administrator to have HIM enter the prefix.
c) be patient.
My personal suggestion would be, c). Lives do not hang in the balance on this and while I understand that patience does not come equally easily for all, I have heard that it IS a virtue.
Happy tracking!
-rudyk, site assistant
I will c) be patient and hold onto the note until the prefix is added…
I am trying to get a handle on your prefix quailifications the bill was scanned by not one but two long time members it was hand inspected by one of the site assistants and I believe the longest member in Saskatoon. I do not bother DR. with such things as he has his hands full with his new son. I suggest that your standards seem to vary depending on who asks for a prefix to be entered and your mood of the day. Is this a Regina / Saskatoon thing for you or just another one of your Power trips. I just thought that we have jumped through your hoops up here in Saskatoon and that your protocals should have been filled by now. C was an opion for the first nine days, B is not an opion as will not bother the new father, and A I would think fellow site assistants all have high standards but do not want to deal with the site assistant bully in his king of the hill attitude. (other words come to mind but are not allowed in the forums) I would suggest when doing your tasks as a site assistant that your ego be left at the door so to speak. Now on a final note as a Business person I am inclined to make quick choices as the early bird catches the worm. I do understand as a member of a Government/instutional organization that you are inclined to ponder even the easy tasks and tie them up in red tape for long periods. I wil not bother you about this prefix again but wish to suggest that your standards are in overkill mode.
BDK you have the patience of a saint I have watched you in various situations and you remain calm cool and collected ( I suspect from training received in your previous occupation ) I on the other hand manage employees every day who must be directed to get the tasks at hand done in a timely manner. Patience is not one of my stong suits when dealing the needless delays and red tape, as is in this case where the situation needs to be kick started so to speak.
Remember that so far it is the only note of that prefix mentioned anywhere.
Even if it was in the logical order as a future prefix, it could be a counterfeit. Not saying that it is, rudyk probably needs to hear of another one either here or the paper money sites.
Queens face water mark is present….
ya right and maybe just maybe he is just being …
bdk please take the bill next time your in home depot and put it under the c detector. what a bunch of horse refuse.
Questions about the additon of prefixes should be directed to the Site Assistants collectively and not to individual members.
BC, you have made your query and have received a response. Further harrassment would be in violation of Forum Protocol.
Attempts to spread dissension amongst Site Assistants or respected members are likely to fail because, with the occasional justified exception, we all hold one another in the highest esteem. I respectfully ask the member in question to cease these tactics, play by the rules, and desist from wasting everyone's time with his petulant outbursts.
Happy Tracking!
I seem to recall that the EUE request was sent as a general request with all site assistants receiving a scanned copy of the note. Voicing ones opinions I did not think was breaking the rules. However to comply with your request I will ask no more about this subject. Sometimes the truth hurts.
