Hey White_Owl done knocking the frost out of your ears yet?
We're next! It's going to be tough going to work at 5:30 tomorrow! Just thought I would see if any one else in Ontario is awake!

Today started out warm and sunny.
Snow was right for snowmen and the roads were slushy.
Sun was bright and the sky was blue.
Then the wind picked up and the clouds came in.
The sky grew grey and desolate.
The wet falling snowflakes turned into hard gritty crystals that hurt my face as the wind whipped them madly around in circles.
Pedestrians and joggers could be seen bent forward against the wind and hunkered down to protect their face and eyes.
Shoppers who had parked their car in a nice sunny spot emerged to find it covered with snow in the midst of a raging, horrid blizzard.

hey 21 mdb, do you write books or novels. If you dont, you should. Or did you get that descriptive weather report from a book?lol

21 should be used to that kind of weather change. I'm sure you have heard this before. "It's Alberta if you don't like the weather wait five min. it will change" It is so true, I can remember when I lived in Calgary a few years back, we had all four seasons in one day and then a couple I'd never seen before.

In Edmonton there's no point shopping for seasonal clothes.
Just stock up on your all-seasons all-weather gear.
Don't worry about how you're going to look, dears.
It's more important that you can stay warm…or cool…or dry…or insulated.

Hey, dr…can you make a Writer's Forum (for 21 and papablue, etc)?
And a Personal Best's Forum (for Jake and 21, etc)?
There's nothing wrong with having lots of forums.
It's better because it would thin out the money
threads and people could just X the messages they didn't want to read.

Maybe a military forum, so you Mil types can comunicate to your heart's content, and us poor slobs don't have to sort through the 'mil speak'. 10-4, ops end/ whatever… Oakaley doakaly?

Works for me, but I doubt it would get a whole lot of use. I think myself, DR, Serotonin and Pappahunt are the only serving or ex members. Did I miss anyone?

Frost??? What frost? It was only -22 C this morning. Why that thar ain't nothin'!!! 10 degrees higher and I'd be heading off to the beach. We don't start complaining here until it hits -40.

OK! The truth is …. I'M SICK OF WINTER!!! I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!! I WANT SPRING!!! I WANT SUMMER!!!

Me tooooo!!!!!!!! One more week (or day) and I may just loose it, today my car started but the tire was flat. I am so tired of been so cold… and the wind….please just let it stop already!!!!! All I can say is thank dr for CMT,and all the rest of you, it has helped to keep some sanity in this long, long, long, loooonnnngggg winter!!!

Are you people out of your mind? Winter is the best time of year! I don't have to work (seasonal job), I don't have to worry about passing out from the heat, the sun isn't out as much. I just love winter would like it to be like this for a few more months a year. O.K. I'm done now everybody can start yelling at me calling me crazy!:)

I like HOT!!! The place where I work can get up to 110F in the summer and I love it, just drink more water!!

where abouts do you work? I work in a concrete factory that gets about the same temp. in the summer, and the only reason I put up with that heat is the money I make doing it.

And as for my name I play alot of D and D and usualy play a crazy dwarf… I don't know they are just so easy for me to get into character :)

If you know anything about the game it is nothing like what people of the christian religion have made it out to be. I find it funny how so many people say so many bad things about the game, yet have never tried it to see what it is acctualy like.

I have never played it, but my friend does. And he don't seem to be close to some Satan Worshiper.

I stack skids of salad dressing. The problem is the place is sealed up so when we do a wash there is no place for the steam and heat to go! Some days we may have to do 3 or 4 washes a shift! It can be like working in a Turkish bath!
My dauther plays D&D with some of her friends and their some of the best behaved kids in town!
