I think it stands to reason that people who do well on this site (enter lots of notes and therefore get lots of hits) would be people who deal with cash as part of their job/career.
Nothing wrong with that of course, I just didn't realize how difficult it would be to circulate cash quickly enough to even get 5 bills entered per day.
Comments? Tips for those of us who just spend cash?
I try to get big bills to start, enter those and then get them changed down (50 to 20s to 10s to 5s).
yup that's how it works…..
I mostly use debit now that we have closed the store and I have a regular job. more money, less hours. used to get a lot of 5's from the bank. now its barely any except maybe cash from the tea or jewelry I sell on the side.
I dont got a money related job, but I do enter some stealths that I happen to see pass thru the till at work.
I do spend a lot more cash instead of debit. & I try & get bills back in change, ie if something costs $16.50, & I pay with a $20, I try & pull a looney & a few quarters out of my pocket so I get a $5er back to enter.
I go to the teller & get small bills every few weeks as the ATM only spits out $20s.
