RFC - weekly mailout

For those of you who receive the weekly activity report, I'm wondering who would like to see it converted into a nice HTML e-mail? This would mean that your email client would have to support HTML emails, which most do. What does everyone thing?

Also, since I'll be changing things there anyway, what would everyone like to see added to the weekly mailout?

Let me know. The HTML conversion could happen soon if we want; the extra stuff on the mailout would probably have to wait until the next release though.

I like it.

1. You asked for short articles once that you would add to the mailout. If you are still interested, I would like to contribute and see what others have to say also…
2. Something from Paul W. would be cool. Any news about new series, the new paper bit on the Journey 10's- stuff like that.
3. Announcements on upcoming 'gatherings', or any other social functions.
4. Maybe a little 'development corner' where you can float ideas for future releases to see what folks think. A little opportunity for feedback maybe?

I've always been curious about the "weekly" top CMT scores - how exactly does that work?

Isn't that the "greatest change in CMT score' over the week?

I like the deveolpment corner idea best and the others are good. What I would like to see is where I stand compaired to the top however disapointing that may be. Just on the CMT score mind.

Also I noticed that line at the bottom of the mailout that says "Nothing new to report". Maybe you could add bugfixes and any updates you make from time to time. Even some that you may be working on that others may have emailed you about. I always read my mail first before logging in so I can send out thank you notes for hits including the mailout!

I like the idea. An idea i've had for a while is on the last mailout of each month just like the weekly mailout but with the scores added together for the whole month. Also maybe a part that says the user names congradulating them on their first hit.
