another version???

Well, because it was too cold to snowboard this weekend, I spent quite a bit of time working on the site. Some cool things coming for version 2.1.4 are:

• notification of hits on your favourites
• support for changing the text size (via "themes")
• can changes the search type when searching the forums
• changed anonymous entry the view bill page is displayed right after entry (better experience for anonymous users)
• an announcement forum that only admin people (me) can post to

I'm also hoping to add team hit notification, HTML version of the weekly report, and ability to search properly for cities with accents in them.

You can look for this new version probably next week sometime.

Whoa! Don't do this too often, we'll all start to expect it…! :))>

Put the anouncment thing right at the top of the forum dr!!
I've got a bat habit of starting at the wrong end of the forums!!LOL

- support for changing the text size (via "themes")

Is this really necessary? My browser changes the type size simply by hitting (command-minus) or (command-plus).

Or is this only true of Mozilla?

Is this really necessary?

No, you can do it on other browsers. However, it's a bit of a pain to do everytime you come to the site. So now you can set it in your profile. Plus, in the future I plan to have multiple "looks" with varying colours and such.

And Pooga (aka StatsNazi), you can thank Princess for having to work at 5:30am this morning and getting me up too. Why? Well, I just finished adding a page to show the top postal codes (for bills entered and hit). Pretty cool. On my laptop, using the dev database (which is a snapshot from the live database taken in June 2002), the top PC's for entries were S7J, S0A 3G0, and S7N. Who knows who's tops now? :)
