It's here! I have just deployed the latest version (version 1.5.0) of Canadian Money Tracker. Heh, it wasn't nearly as smooth a deployment as I'd hoped… there was about 2 minutes of down time due to the extensive changes on the back end. Regardless, all seems to be working now. As per normal, please send all comments, questions, problems and complaints to me via email.
For a complete list of what's changed, please check out the "What's New" page in the help section.
Have fun!

Emailed you about it, but wanted more opinions.
I am not too sure about losing the 'home' menu item and making it clicking on the logo instead. Seems to me it's not intuitive and has to be a learned action. Found it only by reading the FAQ carefully. Could be frustrating for new users (and old dogs like me!).
I noticed that quickly and thought my browser was messed up.. I looked at it on different pages and knew it was the site, not my browser. But i knew we could click on the logo, but still will take some time, and going insane for a couple secks while i think it out how to get back to the main page!!!!
MMMBEER
As a new user I haven't been conditioned yet to the previous menu bar. I find the logo has a shallow learning curve.
Heh, it took me a while to get used to the icon too (and I'm the programmer!)… however, I needed to get rid of it to make room for the 'teams' option, as well as future options. It's really not a space issue for me (since I run at 1600x1200) but for anyone running 800x600, the nav bar starts to approach the edges (so I'm told). Of course, if enough people complain, I will try and figure something out (I'm pretty responsive to your needs afterall)… :)

WHERE'S THE "HOME" BUTTON ON THE MENU BAR??? Hehehehe, just kidding. Actually, I don't mind clicking on the logo. It's kinda neat – it just took a couple of minutes to figure out that a new version had been deployed. DR, site looks great.
THANK YOU for explaining that I can click on the logo! haha! I wondered why it was removed! The site is great… but I think the "home" button was a good idea, and consistent with other sites.
DR, site looks great
Thanks. Glad you like it.
The logo has actually been a live link taking you 'home' since the beginning. You probably just never noticed. :) While I agree a lot of sites have a "home" button/link, a lot also have it set up so that clicking on their logo takes you home also. Like I said the decision to remove it wasn't based on anything other than I was running out of room on the nav bar.

If room is problem, I can understand.
Why not make your site name banner live as well? You know, the top centre

Or else on the logo, somehow add to the graphic a transparent or pulsating 'Home'.
Why not an animated .gif? either the current, like POOGA says, pulsating between the current image and home; or slipping through images of each denomination, with 'home' shown after each denomination, and of course, the maple leaves in the background.
Why not an animated .gif?
Too much work. Plus, I'm not a huge fan of animated gif's to be honest.

If you are trying to conserve menu bar space, why not combine the "Top Ten" and "Stats" pages into one? They are similar categories.
