Get Stamping!

Hey all,

Did you know that you can stamp your own bills? Just go to a place that makes stamps, and ask for one that says www.cdn-money.ca.

The neatest thing is that you can get an original design for your stamp to give your marked bills a personal touch.

If you're in Saskatoon, I recommend Rose Marking (Google them for info). They have good rates and a quick turnaround time. A friend of mine got his stamp there last week, and I just picked mine up today. I've stamped 32 bills so far, but can, sadly, only enter 5 per day, so I can for see a bit of a logjam occurring.

I also recommend using an alcohol or solvent-based ink pad, as this kind of ink adheres to brand new bills the best.

I agree. I had an old pad of that stuff from back in the days when I was stamping "www.JaeFord.com" on all my Canadian and American stuff. Got me into some trouble in Mexico (they don't take kindly to the defacing of their money).

I've been using black STAZ-ON, and some red alcohol-based stuff from Rose.

How long does it take to get my limit increased? I've got stamped notes that are just begging to be spent!

If you enter you limit every day it shoul only take a few weeks to have your limit go up..
