…not much happening here these days to help maintain the interest and excitement experienced by new trackers…even less to hold those who have stayed around for a while….

Perhaps I can generate a little discussion…assuming that there are real live people out there somewhere who, for whatever reason, stay involved in this site.

I sometimes look at the number of users as listed on our home pages. Moments ago, there were 34 of us using the site…myself and 33 anonymous users. Why would the anonymous user numbers be so high and why would there have been a thousand plus anonymous users just a couple of days ago?

From my perspective, these things look like nonsense to me.

Would someone out there care to speculate on these things…and be bold enough to offer some words in way of explanation?

Yep I seen that a few days ago 1300 users online!
5 minutes later there were 34?

The friendly competition & the database stats are the 2 things that make the site the best money tracking site, in my opinion.
If things keep slipping that may not be the case for too much longer.

I must concur. Between these obviously dubious numbers, and the fact that I still haven't been promoted, I'm growing very frustrated…

Depends how you look at it. They belong to Google, Bing, etc.!
