Hey all,
Rose Marking Devices in Saskatoon has put together a money tracking package (at my request).
For $50.60 the package includes:
1 Obverse Stamp
1 Reverse Stamp
1 Stamp Pad
1 Bottle Quick Dry Ink
The obverse (front) stamp reads:
WHERE HAVE I BEEN?
Track this banknote online:
www.CDN-MONEY.ca
The reverse (back) stamp reads:
Enter serial # at —–
|
www.cdn-money.ca -
It looks better than I've described it. The back stamp actually wraps around the note's serial #, so it's pretty convincing.
schnits, alexmacp, and sprints are all using this package, and they're all quite satisfied. If you're interested in ordering, just msg me and I'll hook you up.

For reference, this is what my stamps look like:
tried mto get roses to do soething years ago and he seemed to object to the idea of marking money. He has made 90% of my stamps over the years. I am surprised you got him to work with you? Stamps look good he has always done fine work nice to see new blood working on site promotion.
It was one of the younger guys (Skyler?) who put this together for me.
just as a note … i am always cautious about stamping near the bottom of the note. the bar codes used in counting machines, etc are sometimes confused by extra markings. I am disinclined to draw any unwarranted attention by the folks who deal with the currency of cash.
Hmm, I never thought about that. I always stamp the right-hand serial #; hopefully that's out of the way enough…
Also, unrelated: I like hearing about little things that cause confusion for machines. It puts my mind at ease that Skynet (Watson in our case?) can't rise to power while we're armed with our rubber stamps and ink pads!
