There are so many Saskatchewan users… why couldn't one of you let me find a bill earlier!!!???? I sooooo wish I belonged to this site instead of WW. I will never change, I don't think. Not at this time anyways, but I wish I would've found this site first. Ah well. It's all good. Sometimes this money tracking gets the best of me. Good luck with your hits all!

First, it's never too late to switch. Several users have moved from this site to Where's Willy, and vice versa.

Second, if you are wishing that you were here first because you think more Saskatchewan users will mean more hits, it's not really the case. Although most people think that more users equals more hits, my analysis of the data is that it's simply not the case. While there are a few more hits from regular users on other regular users' bills, it's a very small percentage. The majority of hits come from anonymous and/or new users.

Third, I see no reasons why you can simply enter your bills at both sites; I think Anglofrog does that.

And I think that Stormchaser does as well. And quite a few people add the odd bill over there as well.

Maybe not, but I bet that the cashiers, tellers and other money handlers have seen so many of our bills by now that they don't get 'mutilated and destroyed' as often as before! Which means a longer life in Saskatchewan !!! (this theory will take another year or two to prove!)

I enter my bills at both sites as well but I feel that I'm sorta stuck in that scenerio.

I discovered this site first and started entering my bills. About a week later, I discovered WW and started entering at both. Shortly after that I got my stamp made with both sites. So since I stamp my bills with both sites, I sorta have to enter them at both but I regret that decision.

If I were having a stamp made today, it would only have this site on it.

Since site bashing isn't a good idea, I won't go into why I don't like WW but I WILL say that, in my humble opinion, this site is many times my preference. (Of course, I'm sure that some have the same preference for the WW site.)

So much for making a short story long. Like dr said, there is no reason why you can't switch or enter your bills at both sites.

Is this a "Welcome aboard, Nelson"?

dr

Why not just get another stamp made up? I think the time saved not having to enter the bills on both sites will easily outweigh the cost of a new stamp.

On another note, I mentioned the stamping and entering at both sites as a possibility but I definitely don't encourage it. I tend to think that stamping a bill will split the hits on that bill in the long term; I highly doubt most new users will be willing to enter a bill at two locations which means they will do so at one or the other. And if they got to each site an average of 50% of the time then the bill's travels are split between the sites. You see what I mean?

For me, when I get a WW bill (I think it's happened twice), I simply enter that bill on their site and carry on. In case anyone cares…

I agree with DR on the treatment of WW bills. I do the same.
I am encouraged by the growth in communication between the two sites. Communication is good, and the tone has changed over the last couple of months. I am very happy that WW users drop in from time to time and contribute in a positive way to the forums here- far better than the way it was…

Nelson

and I think I'd rather do it at WW, because I wanna steal it from the Scud some day which will be soooooo hard I'm telling ya, but I'll do er. I also like WW better than cdn. Probably because I got used to it first. I still don't know how to work everything at this site.

dr

Then ya, you should stay at WW because it is far more competition centric than this site. Most of the people here, especially those who happen to be in the top 10 lists are really into tracking their bills; and view the top 10 as just a bit of fun on top of that.
