Big thanks to Serotonin and HOGGS for talking to Duncan Thorne at the Edmonton Journal for this article in today's Edmonton Journal.
And for those of you who can't see that the article is linked in the above sentence (right, VirgoDragon? grin), here is another link:

Another thanks to Serotonin and HOGGS. It is a very nice article that shows the site in a good light.
Two questions dr:
1)Will you be able to tell how many people join the site because of the story?
2)I thought you didn't want publicity?
If the media approaches us, then yes I will talk to them; we don't want them writing articles about us without giving them our side… :) However, I do not encourage going out and seeking media coverage. Make sense?
As for telling who joined because of the article, no it will be hard. First, most people will probably come to the site because they read the paper-based article (I'm not sure where it is within the paper). Seconda, as there is no direct link from the Edmonton Journal website, I can track that either.

Ahem…! Who supplied the bill???
I dunno, Idjit. By looking at your bills on the bill scans page, it looks like your bill. Did he contact you for that?

It's one of mine, all right, and nope, no one asked (not that they need permission). I'm just wondering if it was because my bills look better than anyone else's…??? (ha ha) Surely Serotonin or Hoggs had some of their own to show… :)> This one was an oldie- way back when I switched to black ink 'cause I ran out of red.
Great article, by the way- super job y'all.
That's pretty cool. I don't know if I'd be that willing to reveal my identity like Serotonin and Hoggs! It's fun being a little bit anonymous, but hey now when I have some psycological issues I can check with serotonin, I didn't realize he was that kind of doctor. Perhaps we should set up a forum just for asking him questions… :0) just kidding
Great article and nice picture S, It's nice to know what other users look like…
Then I suspect that you are the reason for the article Idjit. That is probably the bill that he found that started the whole thing. Well done, Idjit… another first for you. :)

That is the kind of thing that may just get us a few new users to help the site grow!! Well done all!! I realy like the way the BOC was brought into the article giving us a clear ok to mark bills as long as its done tastfully.
I really like the article. And I'm told the Journal is a big paper, with lots of circulation. But, I have to point out two things. Firstly, they called Serotonin, Seratonin. Also, I can't see any mention of the URL. Still, the article is good. Really good. Always thought Serotonin was older looking, no offence. Just, I thought you looked like the stereo-type psychiatrist.
Never mind about the URL. I see it now.
I've met Seretonin…he is older looking! LOL
Nice article, Very well put together. Any one else have pictures they would like to share?
Ahem…I think I have been trying to tell you for some time, this bill looks exactly like one of mine also! I have always used black ink and I mark my new bills just as in the picture! It is probably one of Idjit's though considering how many have been entered. I do agree…It looks so…pretty!
I thought it was a good article too. Especially the bit about not illegal to write on them, right from the BofC, that's good!! Nice to meet Seretonin, have been wondering which Dr. at the U of A he was!!!
Thank you, thank you very much. Did you know that it sais somewhere that the blind will inherit the earth. I hope it's in good/decent/fixable when I get it.
Try'd earlier at the library but it didn't work. Just read the article and it was good. I'm a little envious though. Can't help wishing there were more bills entered through Ontario. Don't worry….. I know what I have too do. It's a lot of work but I'm up to it.
