Boy, do you have it pegged there! My wife sees me at the computer with a few bills and says I'm 'laundering' money. She can recognise the CMT pages (distinctive red banner) from the other end of the hallway, and all I hear is "AGAIN???"

Tell her it's kind of like an illness, beyond your control.
My wife is sympathetic but I find myself skulking when I'm on the site, not fully trusting her "understanding"

Not having a wife to shake her head at me - I do have to put up with a cat lying across my arms while trying to type my entries!

You guys have it all wrong, you need to get yourselves husbands, they are way more understanding in these things. Mine has a wallet full of marked money, he breaks the bills and immediately hands over the paper change, which I then enter (and keep of course)

And as for insistent cats that walk back and forth in front of the monitor, I find a pre-emptive strike with a gentle breath of either mint or orange will deter them. If I'm not fast enough though, I find myself with a cat on my shoulder, settling in on the shelf, thus ending any keystrokes, and I must resort to mousing :)
