1st 4 me w/ very low serial #

received today a $5 note with a very low serial number

***0000001 in fine condition

stamped and ready to pass along….

keep tracking.

I heard that collectors kind of like those as well. Depending on condition of course.

I would have purchased it.

from my most recent Charleton catalogue, a low-numbered $5 banknote of the Canadian Journey series in uncirculated condition:

#100-999 is $18
#10-99 is $20
#2-9 is $110
and…
***0000001 is $1550

so…. how do you feel? :)

Well, to add to my dilemma, it was also a very low Prefix (AA*)

But, I am not i this to make money. I am in this simply for the fun of tracking the journeys of the notes. After all, isn't that what this site is all about?
Maybe I will play closer attention in the future…
