Today while at work I had two GIANT LOSERS try and pass off a $1000 dollar bill. I informed them I would have to go to the office to make change. The serial number had no letters and the colour was really bad. Lucky for me my two favorite RCMP members where in house. I showed them my new treasure and escorted them to the table of LOSERS. After the Radar King confiscated the rest of their fake money (over $20,000!) they arrested them! It was great.

WTG Kitkat!!!! Losers for sure, if someone handed me a $1000 dollar bill I would be looking at it carefully just because like most people we never or rarely see them. This one should be on that TV show "Worlds Dumbest Criminals" I think there is even a web site. Congrates Kitkat for removeing more scum off our streets.

Well, according to www.cdnpapermoney.com, an estimated $150,000 of counterfeit bills are caught away each year. So you got a large portion of it. I wouldn't be suprised if a small local paper mentions that the bills were confiscated. The paper here always does.

i have a five dollar bill in front of me… that has no letters in the serial number.
What series is the $5 from? The 1979 series had no letters. They begin with the numbers 30,31,33; regular, replacement, test. If it's from another series then it's an error note and carries some value above face.
I agree with Virgo. Since I joined this site I have noticed I inspect my money a lot closer than before joining.
