Prefix "ALJ & "AJF"

I have one of each in UNCIRCULATED condition

That's actually cool. I am just surprise one can find it in UNCIRCULATED condition which is cooler. That is a good find……

Old bills like those are silly to enter as you would never be silly enough to mark them and most likely will never spend them. As collector bills they do not serve a purpose to enter them. Holly c did those words come from my mind … the guy who would enter any bill a few years ago.

Provided the technical time needed to submit these prefixes was not too great, I don't think it would harm anything to submit them. Especially if each collector to come in possession of such bills were to enter them as hits. My opinion, but I'm sure someone will correct me.

First off ALJ is a $20 (2004) note prefix. Assuming you meant AJL, AJL and AJF can not be entered as they are from the 1975 series. The database will only accept notes that are from the 1988 series and later.

As I type this, I have both notes in front of me.

"AJF" & "AJL" ARE the prefixes

BOTH ARE $100 notes from 1975 series(the reverse has a photo of an East coast seaside dock) .
The "hidden) plate numbers on the back are "17 and "90" (found bottom left corner under the bridge of the "1" and on top of the 'swirl'

MF… really?….. REALLY?!

'tis a rare day – I completely agree with BANKCOLLECTOR's use of the term "silly" here. It serves NO purpose to enter those notes in a database that is for tracking circulating currency. dr, at one time, supported the provision to add such banknotes and one of the tasks of site assistants was to manually add these. however, none of us has ever been able to get that utility to work and so it has not been done in many years. even at THAT… the procedure, had you bothered to search and find out, is to send an email rather than a forum post, whereby you might suffer only private admonishment rather than the public stuff you seem to have invited… :)

now… if you want to keep track of these notes in your collection, buy proper inventory software. if you want to brag about possessing these notes, please post in the "Money Talk" forum. if, however, you actually want to stamp and circulate these notes, worth at LEAST twice their face value to any collector, then take the largest book from your nearest shelf and with both hands, smack yourself firmly in the forehead with it.

yer welcome… :)

Thanks for your reply.
I did not know the value of these notes. Guess I shall have them looked at.
Consequently, they have NOT been marked nor circulated.
It was previously mention that the ADMIN email was no longer working. Was not aware that it was back up. Shall use in the future.

Sorry, no book slapping today :)
