Hi to whoever can help me,
I don't seem to be able to join in on forum threads - I see links for author info, private messaging, to skip to the next thread or to edit what I wrote, but no "reply" link.
I briefly saw the reply link on a recent post I made in the "Congratulations" forum - but that link's gone now too.
Can anyone who's an admin take a look at this and let me know what's going on? I haven't been on here much recently (with the exception of the last few weeks), so perhaps something's changed I don't know about. Didn't see any similar issues in the forums either.

After a thread is so old you can no longer reply to the post(the reply link disapears), but you can create a new post with the same heading to reply to the post if you wish.
Ok, thanks for letting me know! :) At what length of time does the link disappear?
And is that a new thing? I don't remember it happening before…but then again, until recently I hadn't posted anything in quite a while!

I believe it's 7 days of inactivity but I am not sure..
This is an upgrade in the last year or 2..
Oh, ok! I know I've been on the forums in the last few years…but guess I haven't tried to post anything.
And glad to hear they close off after a period of inactivity rather than at a set time regardless! I was picturing a big juicy conversation ending abruptly because it had turned a week old…but that would be no fun :P
