freedom of the city parade

If anyone is in the Calgary area and is interested in watching my Regiment marching around the city, we will be marching to City Hall on April 26. Then, following an official ceremony with the mayor, we will be marching back to Mewata Armouries. The "freedom of the city" parade for military units is a old tradition and involves marching with banners flying, drums beating and bayonets fixed on our rifles. Anyway, if you've never seen something like that, it's worth a trip to downtown. If anyone is interested, I'll find out the exact timings for you.
