Problems

Trying to view my list of entries and I get an error message:

java.sql.SQLException: ERROR: Attribute 'ini_date_of_hit' not found

Also, when I view any user data, including my own, the # of bills entered is blank.

I got the same problems too. I get that message and the rest of the page shows up, but there aren't any entries listed.

A couple of little things…
On the personal data, I think that the 'User since' data should be always on. Interesting to know.
And it would be nice if it also included the city, or at least the province of residence.
And finally, in the stats, rankings should be numerical, not alphabetical (personal preference here)
Nitpicky I know, but I sure would like to see 200-300 steady users rather than trhe 20-30 there are now.

Okay, I've fixed that problem with the User Entries screen; Regarding the comment about showing the 'User Since' field, ya, I'm planning to make that and a new 'last login' field both viewable by all. Both will be enabled in the new version (to come out this later this week).

Shouldn't this list be in numerical order?

Regarding the'# of hits' top ten, ya, it should be. I noticed that about a week ago (when AWITTAK got a hit) and have fixed it in the latest development code. You will see that it's fixed once I deploy the new version. And speaking of the new version, it's looking like it will be early next week now (hopefully April 30th)

Just thought you'd like to know…. when I click on the comment field in a list of bills, this error comes up:

Not Found (404)

Original request: /servlet/cmtViewComment

However, if I click on an individual bill, THEN click on the comment, there are no problems viewing the comment.

Here's another one for you. Today is Friday, May 25, 2001; yet when I looked at the listing for a new user, MMMBEER, the list of his entered bills said that his date of last activity was June 21, 2001! The program starting to look into the future? :-)

Heh, hey there POOGA. Ya, that's because that new user entered in a date in the future. I'm in New Brunswick for the next 4 weeks and can't fix it from here. I will fix that problem when I return. I don't want to refuse future dates that are entered as the system doesn't yet support multiple timezones. But that's coming in the next version… I promise. :)

I was in GAG-TOWN for a week back in '84 for the Combat Arms Officer Selection Board…trying to go Armoured-Reg Force. I didn't make it.
But I joined reserves in Infantry with N Sask R as a rifleman, spent a couple years in the ranks. After getting my corporals, I took an in-service commision, and eventually got to 2Lt. Then txfr'd to Regs in Logistics-Tn, spent a couple years in Pet with 2 Svc Bn, then a couple years in Ottawa at the puzzle palace. Left Regs in '94, came back to Reserves with 16 Svc Bn, where I am now OC B Coy. So I've spent most of my in-service time in Pet, Borden, WATC and Suffield (OJT in Regs).

SARGE was a nickname I picked up in High School.

DR: So when are you back in Cowtown? Have to get caught up on all the suggestions and errors around here! What's more important after all, your life or this site????
