I've rarely seen something so simple get blown so far out of proportion!
First of all, I'd like everybody to take a look at my post that started all of this. Read it carefully with open eyes and an open mind.
Here it is again as a refresher:

Yet when a non user goes to an ATM and gets three bills that are marked and enters them all, two
of those hits are sent to heaven.
Bishop's hits bring up my eyebrows more than the ATM hits.

Where in here do I say that Bishop is cheating?
Is Bishop cheating? That's one possibility. Another is that aliens are using a laser ray to fowl up the CMT database.
But two other possibilities are that either they are legitimate hits or that some kid with nothing better to do wanted to see what would happen if he entered the same bill a second time. Hey! Lets try it a third time. Maybe a fourth.
Some users on this site, it seems to me, spend a lot of time looking at every hit. (Before this comment gets blown out of proportion too, I like to say that this is a good thing and I commend the diligence of these users.) I was hoping that one of these hit experts' would comment that either this is common and of no concern or that it is rare and should be looked into. But no such comment came forth.
Is Bishop cheating? From what I have been able to judge from his on-line presence, I would think that he is NOT. It troubles me, however, that from this one simple post which was mis-interpreted I was attacked (directly or indirectly) by every major user on this site.
I have to disagree with Bishop on the point he made that our time is the most valuable resource that we have to give. It comes in at a close second but the most precious thing that we have is the ability to think. And with that comes the ability to ask questions. If no one ever questioned anything, we would still be living in caves. Yet when someone asks questions here, the ax comes down and we are told that this should be done in private e-mail. Our ability to question things opens healthy debates from which everyone benefits. One person may say Hey dr, maybe this should be looked into' while another will say white owl should quit being such an @$$hole'. Yet a third person will say Have you tried this solution'. I am not the first to be given a gag order but I hope that I'm the last.
I have tried to be a positive factor on this site. I have entered every bill that has come into my hands, I have participated in the forums and helped Newbies when I could (dr even commented on this a week or so ago) and I have tried to infuse my own brand of humour for everyone to enjoy. But like I once said in a forum post "Don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweatty stuff". The 'stress level to enjoyment' ratio scale has been seriously tipped for me. If I wanted to get stressed out, I'd go spend time with my mother-in-law.
I will no longer be participating in this site.
