I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in receiving a weekly e-mail mailout from the site. This mailout would be mostly auto-generated by the server and would basically give you an overview of the happenings from the past week. So, all the hits would be listed, it would show the top ten's for the week (number entered, number or hits, etc)…
Then I would probably add in some weekly comments too, like what's coming up, etc…
If there is enough interest, I will try and implement something like this for the next major release.

Sound like a good idea.. I was going to suggest something like that a while ago, but i didn`t. For the hit listing you should say what bill got the hit (and a link to the bills records) and what city/town the bill got a hit in.
But overall it sounds good.

Count me in. Sounds like fun.
A weekly top ten gives more people a chance to make the top of a vanity board.
I am really getting a kick out of some comments on the hit bills, like todays' hit:
ON ITS LAST LEGS - IF IT HAD ANY. i EXPECT IT NOT TO
RETURN FROM THE BANK EVER AGAIN.
Almost as much fun as the hit itself.
Sounds good to me. I like the idea of giving more people a chance to get into the top 10.
This would be a good way to generate interest in the site. Maybe add the funniest comment of the month; the odd article on bill quality, etc. If you need any help editing…
What ever happened to this.. I thought it was supposedly going to come out last monday.. Where is it? As IDJIT said, do you need any help writing articles? Im very good at this. I got 99% in Newspaper class:)
