Recent events have lead to quite a bit of tension around here, with me mostly being right in the middle of most of it.
First let me state my intention for this message, so that no one can say something was not said. My intention is to lay to rest all of this stuff, and get back to having the fun I was having on the site in the past, so be glad when I got an email announcement about a HIT, be look forward to reading and responding to the people in the forums, 21 and I actually had, what I thought anyway, was a pretty funny thread going on before all of this started.
As some time has pasted, I have for the most part stayed away from entering bills, messages, and checking on the HITS that I have gotten. I have stayed in contact with DR and have continued to support the site in other ways. I am now coming back and will continue to enter hundreds of bills, and hopefully get lots of HITS. I will however no longer allow myself to respond to anyones comments that I think are offensive, read that again I said that I think, whether they are meant that way or not you will not get a reaction from me.
My hope, and I think DRs hope for this site is to make it an incredible community of people who track bills, converse and have fun. Part of that will always be a differing of opinion that is understood in any discussion. If we all agree not all of us are needed. It does not however need to include personal attacks, debates are helpful, opinions can change with debate, they rarely change with attacks.
To 21 and White_owl: what is done is done, there is nothing any of us can do to regain those lost heart beats, here in my hand is the olive branch that will hopefully end this for all of us, and bring peace and fun back to this little piece of cyber world. I have told DR to please delete any HITS that come in for me that he has any doubts about, not because of what has been said but because when I joined this site last June I did so to track where the money that passes through my hands goes, not to generate fictitious HITS on a website. Too the best of my knowledge there is no prize for the person with the highest CMT (correct me if I am wrong DR), there is however the a better understanding of where and how fast some of the money can move around this country.
To the rest of this community I thank those who emailed me their support, or posted it here. I am sorry for any ill feelings that this might have generated towards, me, other users, the site, etc and sincerely hope that with them message all of that ends.
