new fives and tens

Well that is a fine how de do I received five new stacks of fives and a stack of tens only to find they are not accepted in the system yet and they do not work in the slots. So much for my small bill rotations.

Yup, just picked up a $10 note prefix "FEZ" and, as you say, not being accepted.

I would take a picture of the Serial numbers with my phone and enter once they can be entered in here. That's what I do if I get change from one place but have to spend it before I can enter it in here. Doesn't happen a lot but it's what I've come up with.

I use to make lists when my limit was low as my spending far exceeded my starting limit of 5 notes. Now with my higher limit I no longer have this problem. As for the new notes I do not plan to make a list of serial numbers and enter when able as that will mean thousands of unmarked bills out there. I will spend these bills and when the prefixes are in the system then I will enter new bills from that point. Spent $800.00 in fives and tens at Costco today and will continue to look for a supply of old fives while they are still around. Happy Tracking.
