My homemade round stamp

Cool stamp! Would you get in trouble for stamping over part of Laurier's head, though? I don't have a stamp…I just write something like "TRACK ME!" along with the URL in the border. I might consider investing in one…

kewl stamp.. however, i dont think that that bill will last too long in circulation. I think if it every lands in a tellers hand, he/she will probably come to the site, enter the bill, then let the bill rest in peace.

Actually there is no law on the books about defacing old long dead prime ministers… I would however not deface the queen, there is a law on the books about that one.

Lol, ill see what happens with it. I'm going to mark a few more like that, maybe not over the head, but thats the best spot ! Anyway, Ill but a round one later…

I'm really surprised to hear there's no law against defacing the prime ministers! (Not that they'd care…) Still couldn't bring myself to do it, though. Except maybe on the new money…'cuz the portraits are rather homely, I think….I'd be spinning in my grave if someone drew me like that a hundred years from now, that's for sure! Can hardly wait to see what a "new" Queen's portrait will look like…we'll probably need a calculator just to count all the chins they draw on!
(P.S. If anybody on this forum draws the portraits for a living, a rather embarassed apology for my rant. :) )

if i can find this bill, i will scan it and post for you guys.. however, in the late 70's, PM Trudeau past thru this place, and I wanted his autograph. The only paper i had was a dollar bill.. so i passed it to him, and he autographed on the Queen's face.

Hmmm….its ok to make Wilfred Laurier or John A. MacDonald look like the Devil but God forbid we should give Queen Liz facial hair…weird!

I put the 'track this bill' and the web site on the bill using my printer. I have set up a template on a piece of paper, tape the bills (3 at a time) down and run them through the printer.
I have it set up for 5, 10 and 20 dollar bills. No messy hard to read writing and does not mess up the bill.

With the circle of a twonie, and a penny inside. I drew aroung the twonie to start, than centered the penny, and drew around it, than wrote in the circles, so to speak.

it's personal preference, of course, but as much as i think this tracking money is great fun, i have to side with the bank of canada on this one and prefer to limit the marking of the bill to the many inconspicuous opportunities that exist. as someone else has noted, this particular bill is more likely to be withdrawn from circulation and i, myself, would feel guilty about the graffiti-ed nature of the marking.
